The Arbutus 44

This Arbutus 44 is a charming 1.5 storey laneway house built with a plan to accomodate the owner’s elderly parents in the future. The home is customized with a private covered porch on the lane as well as a good size patio with walk-out to create a seamless indoor/outdoor living space. The main floor has an ample “country” kitchen with vaulted ceilings and a farmhouse sink, a three piece bath, and a stacked laundry unit as well. The upper floor has a bedroom plus a den and another full bathroom. This cute little pad is all about embracing that roomy country elegance, but delivering the whole package in the heart of one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Vancouver! I have a preference to a ground floor bedroom when seniors are a possibility !

I love this one It has a homey country look. What would the cost be, including window shades. We live in Surrey and I don’t know if we would be allowed to build one of these. We have a half acre lot with a two story house and a large back yard. Would love to hear from you.
